The project will include excavation and earthwork required to build a 2-acre irrigation pond that is 8.5 to 11.5 feet deep, construct 5500 linear feet of berm that ranges in height of 1.5 to 6 feet, install plastic piping, and install four water control structures (hereafter referred to as WCS). The WCS will be provided by the university. The procurement of all other materials and equipment will be the responsibility of the contractor. The eight (8) existing groundwater monitoring wells at the project site must be protected during the construction process. The contractor must own or have access to equipment that will allow for the excavation, transport and reshaping of 24,000 cubic yards of material within a period of 5 months. The contractor must provide a list of the equipment (either owned or rented) that they propose to use to complete the project.
