Serve as Bond Counsel for the County of Cumberland. Advice the County on various bond related matters including drafting on necessary resolutions, ordinances and financing documents as needed for various County capital (bond) projects. Provide legal opinions regarding compliance with various regulations including tax (IRS), Security Exchange Commission, and requirements of the State of New Jersey. Represent the County as needed at bond closings and/or before the New Jersey Local Finance Board. Provide other bond related services as needed. When requested, attend meetings with County Officials and/or the Board of County Commissioners. Interface closely, on a regular basis, with the Chief Financial Officer. Be available for consultation with various County officials. Assist the Board of County Commissioners in all aspects of procuring and remaining compliant with any and all bond issuances or payments.
