The Work has been divided into three (3) divisions and be generally described by the following: Division I: WELL TREATMENT, PUMP/CONTROL BUILDING, & 200,000 GALLON GROUND WATER STORAGE TANK: Including the construction of a 200,000-gallon pre-stressed concrete ground water storage tank, a two (2) pump water production facility, and site piping and grading. Work is to include site preparation, selective demolition, piping, tank design, painting, chlorination, all electrical, SCADA, concrete, and other accessories as shown on the plans. Work shall include all labor, equipment, materials, appurtenances and incidentals required to complete this project. Division II: 500,000 GALLON ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK & FINISHED WATER EXTENSION Including the construction of a 500,000-gallon elevated water storage tank, site piping, fence work, approximately 1,100 LF of 12” distribution piping, grading, and clearing, all as shown and specified. Work is to include site preparation, clearing and grubbing, access routes, piping, tank design, painting, all electrical, SCADA, concrete, and other accessories as shown on the plans. Work shall include all labor, equipment, materials, appurtenances and incidentals required to complete this project. Division III: WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM Including the furnishing and installation of approximately 200 LF of open cut 8” PVC piping, and 200 LF of 8” horizontal directional drill FPVC piping as shown and specified. Work is to include all traffic control, site clearing and restoration, earthwork, concrete work, valves, and appurtenances incidental to completing this project. Work shall be inclusive of all labor, equipment, and materials. The Tank Contractor shall have completed at least five (5) elevated tanks of the selected design with a minimum capacity of 500,000 gallons or greater. The contracting company for the elevated water storage tank shall own their fabrication facilities. Divided responsibilities between erection and fabrication will not be allowed. A qualified supervisor employed by the contractor shall be on site at all times during construction of the concrete to support the structure and water tank.
