The City of Abilene is seeking bids from qualified contractors to remove two (2) existing air compressors and provide and install two (2) replacement air compressors in accordance with the specifications detailed below. The scope of this project includes equipment delivery, installation, and the removal of existing compressors at the Hargesheimer Water Treatment Plant (HWTP). The HWTP uses Pall/AriaFiltra microfiltration units to treat surface water. The air compressors operate the microfiltration units’ valves and actuators. PART 2. SCOPE OF WORK The selected contractor will be responsible for: • Providing all necessary equipment for the removal/disposal and installation of two air compressors. • Installation of two new air compressors, including all labor and materials needed for installation. • Air Compressor Controls and Integration o Coordinate with AriaFiltra to ensure automation and remote-control capability with the exiting microfiltration unit control systems and software. • Piping adjustments with AirNet system, removal of old piping, and • Ensuring all installations comply with the City’s requirements.
