2.2 Background, Purpose and Goals The Fleet Administration Unit (FAU) is seeking a fully functional, customizable on-premise, cloud-based, or SaaS fleet management software system to replace our current fleet maintenance and repair system; WebFleet Master. The new fleet management software system shall provide stronger and accurate tracking, data-supported reporting, robust analytical capabilities, and shall interface more seamlessly with our current vendors and agency software, to include our fuel vendor system, the State’s Financial Management Information System (FMIS), Workday personnel system, eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA), the State Comptroller’s Office-Payroll Division, and the State Treasurer’s Office-Insurance Division. 2.2.1 Project Goals A. The intention of the FAU is to facilitate fleet services and house all data records for each State of Maryland vehicle, to include acquisition, registration, lease, usage, maintenance, repair, claim, fuel, and disposal data. B. Different levels of web-based system User Access Levels shall be available for any end-user, including individual departments and agencies and their designated fleet employees. C. Such User Access Levels shall include universal access (e.g. full, super user, etc.) and a minimum of eight (8) User Access Level categories of limited Administrator access (i.e., Agency, Accident, Maintenance, Violations, Record Updates, Report Creation), and ReadOnly access. D. Universal users shall have override capability over any downloaded, uploaded, or imported information. E. The Contractor is required to migrate all necessary data from the existing WebFleet Master system.
