Duties and Responsibilities. The Zoning Board of Adjustment Engineer shall perform such duties as are prescribed by general law and local ordinance. In addition, subject to the approval of the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Zoning Board of Adjustment Engineer shall: a. Attend all meetings of the Zoning Board of Adjustment upon request of the Board b. Review and report on the applications and land use matters pending before the Board. c. Work with the Board Chairperson and Board Secretary to review all t applications and/or applications for relief submitted to the Zoning Board of Adjustment. d. Coordinate all efforts with the appropriate official of the administration to effectuate the intent and objectives of the Municipal Land Use Law (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq.), e. Work closely with the Zoning Board of Adjustment Attorney as necessary to represent the Board in any litigation and conduct trails, appeals, and other proceedings based upon any decisions rendered by the Planning Board. f. Provide general advice as directed by the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
