The Contractor shall serve to provide Tennessee educators with a clear roadmap for incorporating ELD standards into core content instruction, enhancing the academic achievement of English Learners. The collaborative will include a combination of whole group sessions, breakout groups, and feedback loops. Collaborators will: • Attend the 3-day in-person workshop and virtual introductory pre-meeting to discuss expectations prior to meeting in person so that the 3 day in person is focused on getting the crosswalks completed. • Examine the current Tennessee ELD and academic standards. • Identify misalignments and propose modifications. • Develop a crosswalk document that will serve as a guidance tool for statewide implementation. The crosswalk document is subject to State approval before it is considered “final”.
