The selected Historical Architectural/Engineering firm may be asked to provide any of the following services as part of this project as Basic Services, including but not limited to: • Conducting site investigation(s) of the Martha Culver House interior and exterior, focusing on or confirming existing conditions. • Attendance at meetings with the Town’s Historical Society and Museums Board members to confirm project priorities. • Holding discussions with key Town Officials including the Director of Public Works, Fire Marshall, Building Official(s), Finance and Grant Administrator(s), Quinnipiac Valley Health District, etc. to discuss approvals, requirements, applicable State and International codes, and building modifications, where applicable. • Research of products and systems for needed engineering improvements to the Martha Culver House structure and restoration materials acceptable to SHPO and/or other involved Historic agencies. • Develop appropriate draft and final Design plans, which consider allowable funding and provide alternatives where needed, requested or required. • Coordination of plans with SHPO and discussions of subsequent review comments and/or modifications required with Town Officials and members of the Historical Society and Museums Board. • Ensure Design Plans and Bid Specifications prepared comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). • Prepare construction documents, including, but not limited to demolition plans, floor plans, exterior elevations, roof plans and details, ceiling plans, room, door, window schedules and details, stair and ramp details, and casework details...
