Task 1. Project management – Consultant will provide oversight of project progress to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. a. Deliverables: i. Bi-weekly report on project progress ii. Monthly invoices iii. Meeting agenda and minutes as needed iv. Additional services like geotechnical engineering and survey can be incorporated into this task. Task 2. Review of existing designs – Consultant will evaluate the existing hydraulic model, designs, and reports provided by USACE. a. Deliverables: i. Technical memorandum documenting review and comments on the usability of USACE document. ii. Analysis of potential alternatives – Consultant will update or revise USACE hydraulic model as necessary for evaluation of existing conditions of full project reach. The consultant will evaluate the alternative proposed by USACE including flood risk reduction and reduction of property damage downstream of Main Street. Based on the flood risk reduction of the USACE, and in consultation with the City, the Consultant will evaluate an additional two alternatives to provide appreciable flood risk reduction. Based on an alternatives memorandum developed by the Consultant, the City will select an alternative to move forward to design. iii. Technical memorandum providing flood risk reduction magnitude of USACE alternative, and Consultant selected alternatives for full reach. Task 3. Development of final conceptual designs – Consultant will develop conceptual designs for the City selected alternative for the full project extent for review and comment by City staff. a.
