Public Areas – Entrances Lobbies and Hallways- Daily Tasks: ⋅ Vacuum carpeted areas and remove soil and gum/ spots. ⋅ Dust mop, wet mop, or spot mop floors. ⋅ Drinking fountains and water coolers cleaned and disinfected. ⋅ Windows and glass door spot clean, as necessary. Outside and inside windows and doors up to eight feet tall. ⋅ Remove litter and leaves from entrances and adjacent areas. ⋅ Empty interior and exterior trash cans and replace liners, as necessary. ⋅ Empty/clean exterior designated ashtrays and urns. ⋅ Clean and sanitize all doors and door handles. Weekly Tasks: ⋅ Dust glass display cases. ⋅ Dust fabric and furniture, and spot clean. ⋅ Clean and sanitize light switches. ⋅ High dust vents, lights, pipes, windowsills, blinds, and any other surface that may collect dust. ⋅ Spot clean walls. ⋅ Remove scuff marks from floors and clean kickplates and baseboards. ⋅ Dust mop/auto wash fourth floor marble floor. Monthly Tasks: ⋅ Spot cleaning of walls and as needed. ⋅ Burnish public areas, hallways, and entrances bimonthly. ⋅ Burnish tile flooring bi- monthly. As Needed: ⋅ Burnish tile floors. ⋅ Fabric partitions vacuum and steam clean. ⋅ Furniture dust/vacuum and clean. ⋅ Top scrub/strip/refinish hard surfaces. ⋅ Fourth floor marble floor dust mop and wet mop.
