The duties and services required of vendor shall include but are not limited to as follows: Provide routine and 24-hour emergency dental care, mold, prepare and fit residents with proper dentures. Twenty-four (24-hour) emergency dental service includes services needed to treat an episode of acute pain in teeth, gums, or palate; broken or otherwise damaged teeth, or any problem in the oral cavity appropriately treated by a dentist that requires immediate attention. Provide vision examinations; prescriptions for eye exams and prepare proper fitting eyewear. Provide foot care and podiatry services, to and including, nail care, fungal prevention and medication recommendations, toenail removal and other recommendations as needed for any further treatment or surgical needs that cannot be performed at the Facility; and Provide hearing tests, recommendations for hearing devices and general cleaning of the ear canal and general audiology services, to and including all other services necessary to meet the medical needs of the residents that are medically necessary for the health and well-being of the residents. Perform dental, vision, podiatry and audiology examinations and evaluations for both routine and emergency services, based on referrals and consultations from facility personnel
