LA28 is looking to source a low-voltage cabling provider for installation of various low voltage systems in a commercial office space supporting the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Timing: This event will not be launched until December 2024, so please allow time for the bidder list to be finalized. The subsequent RFP will close on January 2025, and a tentative award decision will be made on February 2025. Respondent Requirements: • Must have at least 10 years of experience in low voltage systems installation and maintenance. • Must provide proof of proper business licensing and insurance. • Provide references from at least three previous clients. Business Requirements: The vendor will have the primary responsibility for installing and testing all low voltage cabling. Examples of the types of service include: • Structured network cabling (e.g. CAT6 and fiber) • Patch panels for low voltage cabling • Certification of low voltage cabling • Installation of cable trays, conduit, face plates, and cable supports • Labeling of installation and providing as-installed documentation The vendor will have a supporting role in the installation and testing of the following: • AV and conferencing systems (e.g. HDMI cables, cable extenders, speaker cable) • TV’s and digital signage • CCTV systems • Badging and access control systems • Wi-Fi wireless access points
