Architectural firms and engineering firms for the preparation of a Town Facility Master Plan for three Fire Stations owned by the Town of Derry as well as the Taylor Library located at 49 East Derry Rd. The Master Plan must take into consideration the following major components of the subject facilities: - Structural integrity of the building from foundation and sills up to and including the roof. - Exterior of the building including painting needs, siding, brick work, etc… - Interior conditions of finishes including floors, walls, ceilings and all interior components such as doors, permanent partitions, moulding, etc. - Mechanical systems with consideration of lifespan of major components such as boilers, air conditioning systems, and plymovents. - Electrical systems with consideration of present electrical codes and service capacity. - Fire protection systems. - Environmental concerns such as lead paint and asbestos. - Energy efficiency of structures including insulation, thermo-pane windows, and modern lighting. - Compliance to the American Disabilities Act in all aspects of the building.
