This Request For Proposal (RFP) is intended for the professional operation of patient/resident dining services, employee and guest dining, inmate meals to be prepared and delivered (on County Complex property, but in a separate Corrections facility), as well as periodic catering of events, micro-market and vending services. This RFP will not consider plant & facilities maintenance, housekeeping, patient transport, security, grounds maintenance, staffing services, rehabilitation services, energy management or any other service which are not specifically delineated within this document. Additionally, there is a meals-on-wheels contract for Rockingham Nutrition Meals-On-Wheels that is being operated from the Rockingham County Rehabilitation & Nursing Center (RCRNC) main kitchen by the same company that currently operates the food service management contract. This Meals-OnWheels contract is a separate, independent contract, not included in the bid process nor is it required to be bid on at this time. The Meals-On-Wheels contract will continue to be operated by the current vendor from the RCRNC main kitchen in a section that has separated cooking equipment, refrigeration, mechanized tray assembly and storage space but co-mingled dish washing and pot washing capabilities. The possibility would exist for two management companies to be working alongside of each other in our main kitchen. Five (5) year term with effective date of 7/1/2025. Vendors who currently operate county and healthcare-based communities that include skilled nursing, assisted living community, satellite services as well as corrections facility are preferred. Vendor must understand and meet the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Skilled Nursing Home regulations, Dietary regulations, and New Hampshire Department of Health regulations. Experience required in design, operations, marketing, standards, multi-tiered pricing, POS/cash management/credit card/employee payroll duction administration, staffing and menu concept expertise. Vendors that feature a wide network of local support services including traveling chef managers, on-site corporate training capabilities, safety and HACCP training and expertise are preferred. Please provide information regarding locally-based involved principals and senior leadership (providing names, titles and addresses) along with anticipated visitation frequency. Investment monies are not desired/required as part of this RFP.
