The scope of this RFP is to complete the following: • Working with the County, evaluate the bridges selected for application to the BIP • Based on publicly available information and field observation, evaluate each site for environmental constraints • Based on publicly available topographic information, field collected topographic information, or some combination of both, perform horizontal and vertical preliminary layout of the approach roadway and structure for each bridge site. • Complete detailed cost estimates for each bridge. • Prepare a report documenting the following for each site: o Design assumptions for road section, bridge foundation, hydraulic opening and estimated scour o Selected bridge type, size and location o Environmental constraints at each site as well as the scope of final environmental studies and permitting needed to clear the environmental process o Detailed cost estimates
