1.1 PURPOSE, INTENT AND BACKGROUND The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit Quotes for video production services for the recruitment of Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) volunteers. The MRC is a national network of locally organized volunteers who dontate their time and expertise to prepare for and respond to emergencies. MRC volunteers include medical and public health professionals and other community members who work to improve the health and safety of their communities. The MRC was established to provide an established framework to recruit, train, and activate medical and other community volunteers to respond to community health needs during disasters and other public health emergencies. MRC volunteers are especially vital when governmental public health and private medical response personnel require additional support. MRC health professional volunteers include nurses, physicians, dentists, pharmacists, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, counselors, social workers, respiratory therapists, and veterinarians. MRC community health volunteers provide services such as language translation and interpretation, education and outreach, hospitality, food services, reception, logistics, communications, security, and assistance to individuals with disabilities, access and functional needs.
