Task A: Project Kick-Off Visit the study area and meet with representatives of the city of Glasgow. Review all existing and relevant documents, such as the city’s stormwater management plan. Task B: Field Survey Conduct all field surveying services necessary for watershed planning and design of green infrastructure. These activities may include, but are not limited to: • Obtain location and elevation of physical features, including topography, drainage features, structures, utilities (above and below ground), fencing, and trees, as needed, to provide accurate plan, profile, and cross section information necessary for hydrologic / hydraulic design and construction. • Locate additional drainage features or utilities outside of the identified project areas that may be necessary for stormwater calculations or design. • Identify water resources within the project area that may influence design considerations. • Perform geotechnical assessments to characterize sub-surface conditions that may influence design considerations. Task C: Assess the Use of Green Infrastructure as Flooding Solutions Evaluate potential locations to alleviate flooding using green infrastructure and BMPs. Task D: BMP and Green Infrastructure Conceptual Design Conceptual designs for each BMP or green infrastructure scenario shall be completed, and a planning level construction estimate shall be calculated. The selected engineering consulting firm shall meet with the City of Glasgow to review the following: • Mapping of the study area and possible locations for BMPs and green infrastructure. • Recommended BMPs and green infrastructure along with their selection criteria. • The conceptual design for each BMP or green infrastructure scenario. • The estimated cost is associated with each BMP or green infrastructure scenario. • A feasibility matrix to determine the practicality and benefits for each proposed BMP or green infrastructure. • The long-term maintenance and monitoring requirements for any BMPs or green infrastructure.
