Camden County Board of Commissioners is seeking a certified, licensed HVAC company to replace (4) HVAC units located at the Camden County Jail: 209 E 4th Street, Woodbine, GA 31569 1. 2 Ton Unit -at least 15 Seer 2. 5 Ton Unit -at least 14.5 Seer 3 3. 5 Ton Unit -at least 14.5 Seer 4. 10 Ton Unit -at least 14.5 Seer Scope of work includes the replacement of 4 old with new HVAC unit/heater/pad/thermostat/and all associated piping and ducting, removal and disposal of old units, and recovery and disposal of used refrigerant. Listed unit sizes are the minimum required for replacement, it is acceptable based on availability to increase the size of the unit. All units will be rated to 14.5 SEER or greater, have an energy rating of 8.2-8.5 or greater, and be an Oxbox heat pump or equivalent. Proposals will contain the manufacturer/brand of the units selected, the SEER rating, and provided parts and labor warranties. Current units are a mixture of R410A and R-22 refrigerant units, all new units are to be R410A units only. Preferred Brand is Carrier. Preference will be given to USA made products. SPECIFICATIONS 1. All work shall be done in accordance with the current U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Codes and Camden County Codes. 2. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work site for the duration of the work. The Contractor shall maintain all work and staging areas in a neat and presentable condition. 3. Cleanup shall be performed to the satisfaction of theDepartment. 4. The Contractor shall immediately notify the County of any damages to the building as a result of the Contractor’s operations. 5. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supervision and for performing all work as required to complete the work of this project asdescribed. 6. The Contractor, subcontractors or any of their employees shall not perform any work that is beyond their technical capabilities or for which they are not licensed or certified.
