The required flags shall be fifty (50)-Star American Flags. The required flag size shall be approximately 12" × 18" with brilliant fast colors on extra-heavy cotton sheeting (approximately 124 threads per inch). The flag shall be securely fastened by a minimum of three (3) metal staples to a black painted, on both end, enameled smooth, sanded staff. The staff shall have 3/8" diameter and be approximately 30" long with a 2 1/2" gold spearhead securely fastened to the staff. Funeral Flags shall be 5 ft. × 9ft. 6 in., burial casket flag with embroidered stars, sewn stripes, white header, 2-ply mercerized cotton bunting with heavy canvas duck heading and #2 rolled rim. POW/MIA Flags shall be 3 ft. × 5 ft. suitable for flying on a flagpole and Double-Sided. The flags shall be Verona Brand as manufactured by Annin and Company, or equal.
