The selected consultant shall provide quality control observation and testing services on the construction materials during the projects described below. The projects are progressive design-build projects currently in the design phase. Work will include soil/earthwork, cast-in-place concrete, masonry and mortar, pavements, and wet well coating. Potential work may involve structural steel and roofing inspection. The Chin Page Road lift station project entails construction of a 10.2 million gallon per day (MGD) lift station, approximately 1,000 feet of 30-inch gravity sewer influent to the lift station, 500 feet of 24- inch force main, and roughly 4,000 feet of 30-inch gravity mains. The lift station will be located at 4421 S. Miami Blvd. The Page Park lift station project consists of converting a 650-gpm, vacuum-primed, suction-lift station to a 680-gpm, submersible lift station. Built in 1997, it is located at 200 Wind River Parkway, Morrisville, NC. The Slater Road lift station project entails constructing a new submersible, 1,100-gpm lift station and roughly 7,600 linear feet of force main. The lift station will be constructed at 1211 Shiloh Glenn Dr., Durham, NC. Construction is anticipated to begin in February 2025 with a duration of approximately 18 months.
