● Procure security cameras and necessary hardware ○ Vendor will be required to ship equipment directly to their own facility. ○ Vendor may store a limited supply of cameras at each site based on current needs. ○ Vendor will be responsible for all hardware stored at each site. ○ Vendor must provide a detailed report of any items being stored at each site. ● Install-terminate-patch-test-label yellow, plenum rated category 5e or greater, cabling to all cameras from each IDF ○ Existing patch panels may be used when space is available. ■ Additional modular panels and jacks will be supplied by vendor ○ Install 10’ service loop at camera end ○ Camera end must terminate into a surface block or biscuit jack ■ Vendor will provide and install patch cable from block/jack to camera ○ Patch panel must be labeled with matching camera number ■ Number cameras starting at V101, V102, ect. ● If available, existing ethernet cable to existing camera may be used if it meets the following requirements ○ Plenum rated category 5e or greater ○ Proper termination of all pairs, tested and correctly labeled at the patch panel ○ Estimates or counts are not available of existing cable types ● Provide 1’ yellow bootless patch cable for all cameras ○ Leave 1’ patch cable in patch panel for final install by District personnel ○ Do not plug into switch ● Remove existing camera, camera housing and any mounting hardware ○ Existing non-compatible cabling is not required to be removed. ● Properly mount and secure all security cameras in a manner similar to and in proximity to existing cameras ○ Example, wall mount to wall mount, grid mount to grid mount ■ Exception: All outdoor cameras will be arm mounted regardless of current mount status ■ Additional indoor exceptions will be noted ○ Camera must be installed so that lens is pointed in the same direction as existing camera ● Connect all cameras to newly installed network cabling ● Fiber optic cables must be terminated using LC terminations regardless of existing terminations ● Extra or unused port holes must be sealed and weatherproofed for all surfaces ● Replace existing outdoor utility enclosures with enclosure meeting specifications in section 2.0 ● Ethernet surge projection on all outdoor cameras where the ethernet cable is extended beyond the exterior wall ● Install media converter at all camera fiber terminations ● Install POE injector on all multi-sensor cameras ● Label the exterior housing of all cameras with the MAC address and camera number ○ Two separate labels must be used, one for the MAC address and one for the camera number ○ Replace the colon with a hyphen in all MAC addresses ○ Typewritten adhesive label required ○ Label must be white with black print ○ Labels must be read left-to-right if standing at the floor facing camera ○ Labeling must be approved by District prior to start of installation ● Installation must be completed after school hours, weekends or during days with no student presence ● Installation must be completed by February 28, 2025. ● Include two full-day follow-up visits for camera adjustments within one year from the final installation date. ● All existing cameras must be removed and packaged in a manner to prevent additional damage during transport. Once packaged all existing cameras must be delivered to the Liberty County Board of Education Central Office located at 200 Bradwell Street, Hinesville, GA 31313. ● Provide editable spreadsheet containing serial #, camera #, mac address, and approximate location of the camera is to be updated and submitted to designated personnel daily to indicate newly installed cameras. ● District personnel will add cameras to Verkada Command. ● All firewall penetrations must be sealed to meet or exceed existing hallway firewall ratings. ○ All firewall penetrations must be documented and will require a post installation inspection. ○ Vendor is responsible for correcting any code violations ● Vendor must not take more than fifty percent of site cameras offline at a time. ● All packaging and materials must be disposed of by the vendor ○ Vendor may use on-site dumpsters for garbage and debris from this project. ● Vendor will be responsible for resolving any cabling defects that are identified prior to project sign-off.
