The selected Consultant will be responsible for: 1. Farmers Market Analysis: o Identify and catalog existing Farmers Markets within the Cherokee Nation reservation. o Define market characteristics, including size, location, operating seasons, participating vendors, and product offerings. o Analyze market strengths, challenges, and growth opportunities. 2. Stakeholder Engagement: o Conduct interviews or surveys with market managers, local producers, consumers, and other stakeholders. o Identify gaps in market access or producer participation. 3. Alliance Formation: o Facilitate the development of the Cherokee Nation Farmers Market Alliance. o Coordinate meetings and discussions to align market goals and collaborative efforts. 4. Regional Marketing Plan: o Develop a strategic marketing plan to promote Farmers Markets across the region. o Provide recommendations for increasing local producer participation and improving consumer access.
