The Contractor shall remove the existing court and replace with a new indoor basketball court wood floor at the Kirkland Gymnasium. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment to complete the removal of old floor and installation of new floor, including subflooring system. The scope of work shall include, but not limited to, the following: • Removal and disposal of existing maple strip wood floor. • Removal and disposal of existing plywood subflooring system. • Install one (1) vapor barrier • Install one (1) subflooring system • Rack out and install one (1) wood floor system • Sand entire floor smooth. • Apply coats of seal and oil modified gym finish. • Apply striping for one (1) main basketball court, two (2) side basketball courts, and one (1) main volleyball court, two (2) side volleyball courts, three (3) pickleball courts. • Reinstall removed vent cove base. • Remove any and all waste. • All work to be performed in one phase during regular working hours.
