1. Contractor’s environmental services will be provided to support the following types of O&M activities: a. Weed spraying and control (aquatic and terrestrial) b. Road grading c. Erosion repair d. Drain/swale clearing e. Encroaching brush removal f. Toe drains clearing g. Mowing h. Pipeline dewatering and repair i. Fence repair j. Signage replacement k. Cleaning and repair of overchutes l. Rodent abatement m. Recreational area rehabilitation (terrestrial and aquatic facilities) n. Non-operational land review o. Investigation, restoration, and remediation of landfill sites p. Other operations, maintenance, repair, replacement and rehabilitation, and minor new construction projects supporting the SWP, or Statewide priorities as they relate to the SWP. 2. Contractor will perform biological resource surveys, assessments, and evaluations for environmental document preparation, support and implementation, utilizing established best management practices, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan(s), and hydrological resources. This includes: a. Habitat surveys b. Protocol level surveys for sensitive species c. Botanical surveys d. Wetland delineations e. Mitigation measure planning and development f. Mitigation monitoring g. Pre-construction surveys
