The City of Trenton, New Jersey is seeking pricing proposals from qualified arborists to provide services to support the inventory and analysis of street trees and potential tree pit sites within the city, as further detailed in the below Scope of Work. The Arborist use GIS (Geographic Information System), Field Maps and related ESRI software, as provided by the city, to perform the inventory work. Please note the city should be training staff to update the inventory as needed. Additionally, the Arborist shall finalize the draft Urban Community Forestry Management plan based on the results of the inventory, in accordance with the NJDEP Community Forestry Management Plan guidelines. The management plan shall describe the existing tree populations and potential planting locations and provide recommendations to maintain and protect the existing tree canopy, expanding it further based on the potential sites identified, and potential for training and community involvement in forestry operations.
