furnishing of all labor, materials, tax, equipment and services for the construction and completion of structural modifications and new equipment installation at the Owner’s Hell Hole Dam and Reservoir. The Hell Hole Dam is a rockfill and earthfill embankment with a maximum height of 410 feet located on the Rubicon River approximately 20 miles east of the town of Foresthill in Placer County. This project includes precision structural demolition of portions of the existing ogee crest including trenching for pneumatic conduits, constructing new concrete abutments, addition of a structural concrete intermediate pier, and installation of new pneumatic spillway gates. The project also includes installation of a new control building, 150kW transformer, propane tank and security fence on the spillway’s left abutment. The project will provide additional storage capacity resulting in power generation improvement and environmental benefits during the high flow season (May – July).
