2.0 The Town of Plainfield is requesting proposals from vendors to provide all materials, equipment and labor for the new front entry ramp for the Town Hall of Plainfield. 2.1 Project objective and scope The project consists of a section of the walkway, stairs, access ramp, and landscaping grading including providing all materials, equipment and labor for the installation. 2.2 Permit The Contractor is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits and paying all associated fees prior to the start of work. The Contractor shall also be responsible for ensuring that necessary inspections are scheduled and are completely satisfactorily. 2.3 Project Cleanliness A. Contractor is responsible for keeping the jobsite in neat and orderly condition during construction progress. The building interior and exterior shall be broom clean at the end of each working day. B. Contractor is responsible for waste and rubbish removal during construction. C. The building shall receive a final thorough cleaning prior to completion. D. The Contractor shall guarantee their work and the work of all subcontractors for a period of time to be agreed upon by the Contractor and the Town. E. The Contractor shall repair all the damages caused by construction. F. Representatives of the Contractor and the Town shall participate in a final site visit upon completion of the work. 2.4 Perform all investigative work necessary to establish existing conditions. 2.5 The town of Plainfield waives the permit. The state training fee portion of the permit shall be paid by the contractor
