The Newark Board of Education is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide efficient and cost effective warehouse shipping, sorting, and delivery services. For cost savings the NBOE may purchase bulk instructional materials or goods from a publisher or manufacturer and require the awarded contractor to (1) pick-up the materials from the publisher or manufacturer, (2) transport the materials to their warehouse, and (3) sort, appropriately package, and deliver to NBOE locations based on a delivery ledger provided by NBOE. Service deliverables include, but are not limited to: A. Coordinating with NBOE administrators to ensure timely and accurate delivery. B. Utilize quality control measures to ensure accuracy and the proper condition of delivered supplies. C. Partner with national shipping companies for cost savings. D. Planning detailed the methods of pickup, delivery schedules, and how your company will manage multiple deliveries to different locations. E. Providing monthly status reports on deliveries made, any issues encountered, and confirmation of materials received at each location.
