It is the intent of this “RFP” is to secure a qualified and professional contractor to remove existing primary clarifier and ancillary equipment and install replacement equipment. Currently some of the equipment has been removed from clarifier #2. Some the remaining shafts can be reused after they have been cleaned and coated to prevent additional corrosion to them. The scope of the project will include the following: Equipment: 1. One (1) 3-shaft sludge collector for installation in existing concrete basin. Collector mechanism will fit a channel 20 ft wide X 87.5 ft long X 10 ft sidewall depth. 2. One (1) bottom cross screw conveyor mechanism, 12” diameter X 20’ long, for installation in tank. 3. One (1) 2-shaft pivoting flight power skimmer for installation in existing concrete channel, 20 ft wide. 4.
