This ID/IQ contract is for EMERGENCY slope stabilization upon request at various locations in Buncombe, Madison, and Yancey Counties. This contract is contingent upon availability of funds, and budget constraints could require that this project be scaled back or canceled. The contractor shall furnish all labor and materials to complete the work in accordance with the Standard Specifications and special provisions contained herein. All work and materials shall be in accordance with the provisions of the general guidelines of this contract, the Project Special Provisions, the North Carolina Department of Transportation 2024 Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, and the current edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The Contractor shall keep himself fully informed of all Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances and regulations, and shall comply with the provisions of Section 107 of the Standard Specifications. The NCDOT will provide the following services and materials: Site Surveying Right of Way Location Excavation of Materials Clearing and Grubbing Disposal of Excavated Materials Erosion Control Slope Armoring Rock Plating Shoulder and Slope Fill Materials Pipes (other than Horizontal Drains) Milling Asphalt
