The University of Rhode Island (URI) is seeking proposals from full-service media agencies to support the university’s advertising and marketing needs, supporting recruitment and awareness for both in-person and online education opportunities. • The University of Rhode Island- Currently, the Communications and Marketing Department runs two major paid marketing campaigns throughout the year and creates and manages native/organic social platform content. o Undergraduate recruitment- A heavily digitally focused CTA campaign that runs generally from October through the end of the year. The goal is to drive viewers to our recruitment landing page and have them click-thru and then submit an RFI. o URI Brand Awareness- This campaign is largely traditional and outdoor, we have partnered with both the Providence Amtrak Station, and TF Green Airport, and utilized billboard inventory on I-95. A local tv/streaming and radio/streaming buys were negotiated as well. o URI Online- Currently employees three different marketing approaches with the common KPI of receiving individual program RFIs. ▪ Awareness ▪ Areas of Interest ▪ Program Specific o Agency may also support Human Resources related work for personnel recruitment.
