The objective of this proposal is to obtain the professional services of a qualified marketing/advertising consulting company to assist the Parks and Historic Sites Division (PHSD) of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in the development and implementation of a strategic marketing plan that includes advertising, public relations, promotion, strategic marketing, and interactive marketing communications. The chosen company will be the agent of record for coordinating and integrating marketing efforts across all state park properties including parks, historic sites, and golf courses to meet the following primary and secondary goals: PRIMARY GOAL • To increase visitation to (day use and overnight accommodations) and revenue from Parks, Historic Sites, 2 welcome centers and SAM Shortline SECONDARY GOALS • To create top of mind awareness for PHSD as a premium resource for outdoor recreation, education and leisure activities in Georgia and the Southeast • To support education, interpretation, preservation and conservation efforts • To strengthen the State Parks & Historic Sites brand and position Parks, Historic Sites, and Golf Courses as destinations for a diverse audience of individuals, families and businesses • To effectively communicate the value of state parks, historic sites, and golf courses to potential visitors, existing customers, and other stakeholders. • To track, measure, and report the effectiveness of advertising, collateral, PR, and marketing strategies • To grow the establishment of on-going relationship building initiatives with sponsors, partners, and stakeholders
