The lead remediation services ("CONTRACTOR") shall assist the TOWNSHIP in proper lead remediation of the East Brunswick Police Training Facility. The contractor shall conduct bullet and bullet fragment removal from bullet trap(s) to include a fine particle cleaning. The recovered lead shall be secured in specified/approved containers and placed on pallets, which can be staged onsite for transport/recycling. All processed granular rubber shall be placed back onto the trap and groomed to a uniformed depth across the trap. All containerized lead shall be loaded onto a licensed transport vehicle and transported to an appropriate recycling facility for legal disposition. The range floor and walls shall be cleaned with HEPA vacuums from the trap to the back wall. All non-porous surfaces of the shooting partitions shall also be HEPA vacuumed and wet-wiped. All filters will be replaced with new filters which will be supplied by the Township. A report shall be completed documenting any wear, damage, or need for maintenance. The report shall also contain waste manifests, lead reclamation certificates, and a summary of performed onsite activities including dates and times as well as a certificate of recycling.
