3.1.1 Vendor to provide quote which includes materials, labor, equipment, travel, vehicles and waste disposal for all work as stated in this request. 3.1.2 Contractor to follow all Federal, State and Local regulations governing work, safety and disposal. Contractor shall establish safe work zones to project public during the course of work. Coordinate work, schedule and key/card access with UW-Stout Facilities Management Department. Finished work to provide journeyman level professional craftsmanship and neat installation. 3.1.3 Preferred flooring is ECORE Performance Beast - Roll: 10.5mm x 48" x 25 LF. New rubber flooring to be rolled goods. Manufacturer to submit product data for new flooring, adhesives, accessories and installation/layout diagram for approval prior to installation. Minimum thickness of 10.5 mm. 3.1.4 New flooring must be black in color with option for navy blue and/or grey color chips. Royal blue is not an acceptable alternative color. 3.1.5 Flooring must be made with reclaimed rubber materials and fully recyclable at End of Life. 3.1.6 Vendor will be responsible for receiving, handling and storing of all materials to be used for this project. Materials to be stored per manufacturer specifications. Vendor to coordinate material deliveries per section 1.7. 3.1.7 Vendor is responsible to move all equipment, furnishings and misc. items out of room 53 to perform work. This includes all disassembly and reassembly as required. Items to be moved from weight room to staging location. Once the new flooring is complete, all items to be moved back and reassembled into weight room 53. Equipment that is attached to floor shall be anchored back to floor. 3.1.8 Vendor will be given access to room 54 as a staging area for duration of project. Vendor to put down ¼" plywood material over all areas used for staging of material and foot traffic as this is a gymnasium floor. All corridor flooring shall be covered with ¼" plywood wherever carts or pallet jacks will be used. Vendor is responsible to clean room 54 to a condition as good or better than when it is turned over for project. 3.1.9 Vendor to provide plywood or masonite for floor covering/protection at all corridors and staging area in room 54 to protect flooring from any heavy loads. 3.1.10 Vendor to be responsible for floor preparations for new flooring installation. Site visit is optional, but vendor will be responsible for verify existing site conditions are acceptable for new flooring installation. This includes removal of existing adhesives and all floor preparation as required for new product installation per manufacturer requirements. Existing adhesive to be removed by vendor as applicable/required per new manufacturer’s product specifications up to and/or including bead blasting as required. Vendor to provide minor concrete patching as/if required.
