• Serve as Labor Relations Specialist to the Pleasantville Board of Education to provide professional advice and related matters as required by the Board in conformance with the of the State of New Jersey. • The specialist will represent the Board of Education in collective negotiations for a successor agreement with the Pleasantville Education Association and Pleasantville Administrators Association. • The specialist will meet with the Board of Education and committees of the Board and/or Administration as necessary to formulate proposals develop strategies and revise positions during the course of negotiations. • The specialist will serve as chief spokesperson at all bargaining sessions with the abovementioned employee organization and perform whatever preparation and research is required to successfully conclude the negotiations process with that organization. • Following the conclusion of negotiations, the specialist will deliver to the Board a complete, ready-for-ratification draft of the modified contract between the employee organization and the Board of Education.
