• Apply, interpret, and enforce provisions of Township Ordinance and assess fees • Participate in Township meetings, Planning and Zoning site plan review, site walk through and pre-constructing meetings as requested • Establish tree protection criteria for each site prior to approval for development and monitor site progress • Establish responsibilities of developer before, during, and after construction • Provide expertise for arboricultural services and contracts to the private sector • Provide specifications and/or supervision for all township tree plantings • Provide reports, appraisals, and tree evaluations for any litigation or legal action • Identify, design, and implement supplemental funding sources without the use of taxpayer money • Attend monthly of Shade Tree Advisory Committee (if established) • Submit written reports as requested
