– The Township of Berkeley Heights is requesting proposals for Land Use Planning Services and other areas where such expertise may be required. The Township Planner will have a close working relationship with the Department of Engineering, the Planning Board, the Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Administration. Services to be provided by the Township include, but are not limited to: • assisting Township personnel on administrative and technical matters as requested by the Township Mayor or Administrator; • assisting Township personnel with and attending no less than two (2) to four (4) “Vision Meetings” with the Township personnel and the public related to potential uses for and strategic development of the Nokia Lucent Bell Labs property; • Assisting Township personnel with preparing a media campaign designed to educate the public about the Vision Meetings and strategic planning for the development of the Nokia Lucent Bell Labs property; and • preparing a strategic development plan for the Nokia Lucent Bell Labs property
