This solution is being procured to provide comprehensive mapping, inventorying, and classification of state data and to provide greater transparency and monitoring of data flow, access, and activity. It will enable the state to track and monitor data movement internally, outside the state environment, and within third-party applications to provide a complete picture of state data flows, quickly identify threats, and monitor unusual usage or movement of data. Acceptable solutions for this RFP include software solutions hosted on the State’s infrastructure, Software as a Service (SaaS) hosted on the Vendor’s infrastructure, or a “hybrid” solution which combines these options. The applicable terms for a software solution and a SaaS solution are included in this RFP, in Attachment B, Sections 2 and 2B, respectively. Section 2 terms apply to a software solution, while Section 2B terms apply to a SaaS solution. Additionally, the terms in Attachment B, Section 2C apply to solutions that may include Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) features.
