The college's existing wireless network infrastructure, comprised of aging Cisco network switches and Cisco wireless Wi-Fi 5 infrastructure, is increasingly unable to meet the demands of its growing student body and evolving technological needs. The current network is experiencing challenges such as limited coverage, capacity constraints, and difficulty in supporting bandwidthintensive applications. To address these issues and enhance the overall student experience, CCRI is seeking to learn about vendors and solutions that exist to upgrade its wireless network to the latest Wi-Fi standard. This upgrade will provide the foundation for a more robust, reliable, and secure wireless network capable of supporting the college's educational mission and future growth.
