1. Contractor shall complete Work as defined by providing all labor, materials, supervision, tools, equipment, and vehicles necessary for the milling and resurfacing of City streets, alleys and parking lots, construction of signage, pavement markings, and ADA curb ramps, and other associated/related work at various locations throughout the City, as directed by the Engineer. Work may occur within public rights-of-way and/or at City facilities. All services provided by one or more selected Contractors will be pursuant to a contract between the selected Contractor and the City. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, licenses, and other authorizations required to complete the Work. Work will conform with applicable City, State, and Federal standards. 2. Work Category #1: Milling and Resurfacing Contractor shall provide construction services, including but not limited to: (1) Milling at specified depths as required by the Plans. (2) Paving at specified depths as required by the Plans. (3) Street sweeping between milling and paving operations and after paving operations. (4) Temporary traffic control (“TTC”) to include submitting TTC Plan(s) prior to the start of work and set-up and take down of TTC. (5) City utility manhole and valve box vertical adjustments. (6) Construction and restoration of vehicle detector loops. (7) Other associated/related work. 3. Work Category #2: Micro Surface Contractor shall provide construction services, including but not limited to: (1) Pavement marking removal, as needed. (2) Rut filling, as needed. (3) Construction of Micro Surface treatment in lifts as specified in the Plans, or as directed by the Engineer.
