Analyze current cleaning methods and staffing levels to determine if improvements can be made to the organization’s structure, levels of cleaning, efficiency, scheduling, quality control, and cost. The scope of services will include an analysis of the various cleaning methods and schedules to determine if changes can be made to improve efficiencies and/or reduce cost. Analyze the method of procurement and use of chemicals, paper, equipment and other products used for custodial services. Conduct a campus-wide site visit to include all buildings to review current cleaning methods and to make recommendations for improvement. The services desired under this section will include a walkthrough of all buildings that currently fall within the scope of this RFP to see current operations and to see visually the facilities in order to recommend improvements. Develop and recommend cleaning specifications for all buildings. The University uses its facilities in a variety of ways. The University desires a recommended standard of cleaning and required specifications for each building. Provide workload recommendations and staffing or scheduling changes. The University requires in the scope of services a recommendation of staffing based on the recommended level of cleaning for each building with an estimated cost per cleanable square foot for each building. Provide analysis on estimated cost per square foot for labor, materials and other associated costs for each building and the cumulative for all buildings. Review green cleaning techniques and products and make recommendations on areas of improvement. Review current products and processes to recommend modifications to improve services provided and methods to record and account for sustainable services rendered. Make recommendation on data management strategies and needs in the custodial area for improved management of workforce and containment of costs.
