As directed, prepare reports, presentations and research on land use, housing, open space, economic development, transportation, public utilities, historic preservation, farmland preservation and natural resource protection and conservation. 2.2 Assist and advise the Township on techniques, rules and regulations that the Township may need in exercising its powers in the area of land use, housing, open space, economic development, transportation, public utilities, historic preservation, farmland preservation and natural resource protection. 2.3 Assist and advise the Township Council on Land Use Ordinance updates. 2.4 Prepare plans and other supportive documentation for development and redevelopment as directed. 2.5 Represent the Township as directed in meetings with the County of Passaic, other municipalities and State agency officials. 2.6 Advise the Township, as necessary, on new or advanced planning techniques. 2.7 Prepare maps, reports and public presentations, as needed. 2.8 Assist and advise on affordable housing matters. 2.9 Assist and advise on areas in need of redevelopment and rehabilitation. 2.10 Other planning services as requested by the Township Council.
