1. Clean all roofs/surfaces to the requirements of the polyurethane base coating to be applied. 2. Apply polyurethane base coating. Henry SeamlesSEAL POLY+ coatings (base and finish) or approved equal. Manufacturer’s written verification of applicator approval is required. a. Substrate Preparation: Pressure wash area to be coated to remove all debris & dirt to ensure proper adhesion. b. All loose paint, mastics and loose rust must be removed prior to the application of coating or sealant. Achievement of this condition may require scraping, wire brushing, power brooming, vacuuming, sweep blasting, sandblasting or other means, and shall always be performed observing responsible trade practices. c. Metal that has corroded to the point of being weak or broken must be patched replaced with like metal. d. Tighten or replace all fasteners where necessary. In no case shall joints or seams be allowed to separate greater than 1/16 inch. e. Any new metal must be clean and oil-free. Prime ferrous metal with Prime-Tek Metal primer at the rate of 1 gallon per 200 square feet. f. Please refer to application guidelines: HRS-Acrylic-Application-Guide-USEN-LR-.pdf (henry.com) 3. Repair corroded sections of roof as needed. Replace missing roof fasteners as needed. 4. Materials and workmanship 20-year warranty will be required upon final inspection by Manufacturer’s Representative. 5. Skylights on Buildings No. 1 and No. 3: a. Apply sealant around all skylights. Sealant shall be pigmented urethane sealant or Seal-Tek Micro Fibers mixed with the urethane coating. b. Reinforcing fabric shall be Seal-Tek Reinforcing Fabric or approved equal. c. Tape shall be Seal-Tek Sure Tape or approved equal. d. Coat the skylights with Henry SRC Silicone Skylight Coating or approved equal at minimum 30 mils in multiple coats to eliminate sag or runoff. Solids Content by Volume: 90% +/-3; Appearance: Clear e. For existing fiberglass panel skylights that have been painted: paint over with yellow outline/striping.
