The methane monitoring services include, but not limited to, the following: Collecting APP I analyses, surface water, APP II select pesticides, APP II select Herbicides, AP II Select SVOC, and APP II Mercury samples; conducting field engineering tests; submitting a report of same to the County within 48 hours of receiving results. The County wishes to continue the Methane Monitoring Services in accordance with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, EDP, September, 2015 Guidance Document entitled Methane Monitoring At Solid Waste Disposal Facilities, Rules of Solid Waste Management 391-3-4-.07(3)(h) and 391-4-.07(4)(c)4. The County’s intent is for the Engineering firm to conform to the guidance and regulations as imposed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, EPD, Land Protection Branch, Environmental Monitoring Unit.
