1. Preparation: a. Pre-construction site walkthrough. b. Provide a renovation timeline for project milestones and final project completion. c. Secure the work site with caution tape as needed. d. Shut off all water supply lines running into the restrooms at the nearest shutoff valve. e. Install flooring protection from the doorway that will be used for ingress and egress between the restrooms and roll-off or dump trailer. f. Partitions, tiles, toilets, urinals, and all pre-staged materials will be stored in a floorprotected area in close proximity to the work area designated by the District. The Contractor will provide the flooring protection. g. Install plastic sheeting to contain dust and debris during floor and wall tile demolition. 2. Demolition (none of the disposed of materials shall be reused): a. Remove and dispose the existing electrical plates and outlets. b. Demo and dispose of the existing floor-mounted toilets (6). c. Demo and dispose of the existing (3) wall-mounted waterless urinals. d. Demo and dispose the existing urinals and toilet stall partitions. e. Demo and dispose the existing restroom mirrors. f. Demo and dispose the existing countertops, sinks, and faucets. g. Demo and dispose storage cabinets. h. Demo and dispose floor tiles and tile cove base. i. Demo and dispose damaged sheetrock walls and ceiling if needed. 3. Installation of all new materials (unless indicated below, materials are to be provided by the Contractor; materials, colors and finishes to be determined and approved preinstallation by the District Project Manager, or DPM): a. Install ceiling and walls sheetrock, if needed. b. Sand and paint sheetrock ceiling and walls (Designer white – Satin finish). c. Provide and install floor tiles and tile cove base. (12x24 Ironcraft Matte Casper grey or matching equivalent Unpolished Installed 1/3 Staggered). d. Provide and install wall tiles (12x24 Multitude Glazed Ceramic Origami White or matching equivalent Installed 1/3 Staggered). Tile to be installed from the top of the tile cove base to 6 feet in height in the areas the DPM will designate. e. Install three (3) wall-mounted urinals (District provided) with new plumbing hardware and Sloan valves (Contractor provided) or matching equivalent. f. Install six (6) new floor-mounted flush valve toilets (District-provided) using new piping, flush valves and hardware to match the existing Sloan brand (Contractor provided).
