Vendor shall be able to provide standard road striping paint and the new high build paint. All work including site preparation, materials, construction requirements including inspections, certificates and warranties shall be in conformance with the current editions of the GDOT Georgia Standard Specifications Manual, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), and current Dawson County Standards and Specifications. Additionally, Sections 652 and 870 of GDOT Georgia Standard Specifications Manual provide additional information that should be adhered to for the purposes of this request for proposal. Pricing shall include paint for lane miles and reflective paint; and shall include all required striping widths. Contractor will be required to work within the County’s schedule to meet county deadlines and provide the necessary reflective markings to roadways for public safety. Contractor will receive approval and scheduling of needed work from the Dawson County Public Works Director or designee. Work must be performed under a Purchase Order number issued by the Purchasing Department. Amount of work will be based on budget availability within the contracted year; the County guarantees no quantity of work under the contract. Payment will be made upon actual amount of striping completed at the bid unit prices.
