5.1 Description of License: This is a solicitation for a License to Use Land Agreement for Apiary services in specified areas on Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. The area allows approximately 25,000 acres of use for apiary. The locations are commonly referred to as North Post and East Post. 5.2 Location of Land: North Post is the portion of CBJTC that lies north of SR 16 and east of CR 225. East Post lies south of SR 16 and west of SR 21 (See attached maps). These areas are approximately within Sections 19-36, T5S, R23E, Sections 1-6 & 8-12, T6S, R23E and Sections 19, 30 & 31, T5S, R24E. The Post Forester will coordinate with awarded contractor regarding location, size, and number of apiary sites. All areas will be left in the original condition during and after operations pertaining to this contract, and no damage will occur to trees or other resources belonging to CBJTC. 3 Contractor Responsibilities: The Installation Forester reserves the right to restrict access to the facility when weather, training, and other necessary conditions arise. Contractor shall be registered with the State of Florida and must obtain a Certificate of Apiary Inspection. In addition, the contractor must comply with all Florida Statutes and Administrative Codes regarding beekeeping. Contractor is solely responsible for the maintenance of all apiary sites for the duration of the contract. Contractor must provide warning signs and adequate fencing at each apiary site. Contractor must ensure no refuse is left on sight longer than deemed reasonable by the Post Forester.
