The proposed scope of work includes the following tasks; however, the consultant can include additional tasks as appropriate: • Kickoff Meeting with District/JPA staff • Planning and management of Pure Water Tasting Event(s) with the following constraints: o For Beer events, the beer will have already been brewed and canned by a local brewery o Help identify and hold the event(s) at a location within the JPA service area o ONLY FOR BEER EVENTS: No BEER or alcoholic event(s) will be conducted on/at JPA/ District facilities (due to restrictions on serving alcohol on District/JPA property) o Limit the event to 200 participants (District to develop guest list) or no more than the capacity that the event location allows o Follow-up with invitees and confirm attendance o Procure any permits and insurance that may be required for the event o Run the event from beginning to end o Provide any other event needs such as, but not limited to, musical entertainment, audio system for addressing the audience, and possible raffle prizes • Planning and management of a Coffee Brew and Hot Chocolate Tasting Event(s) with the following constraints: o Solicit participation from primarily local coffee makers within the JPA service area o Identify and hold the event(s) in Oak Park, CA in a park or at a specific business location TBD o Limit the event to 200 participants (District to develop guest list) o Follow-up with invitees and confirm attendance o Coordinate with District staff to possibly staff a table at the event o Provide any other event needs such as, but not limited to, musical entertainment, audio system for addressing the audience, and possible raffle prizes o Run the event from beginning to end • Planning, managing and executing an outreach plan specific to the construction of the full-scale advanced water purification facility and the corresponding pipe construction project: o Develop an outreach plan for education and information dissemination to the residents and businesses that will be impacted by the construction of the project o This can include: Timeline for construction phases (standalone leave behind) • Graphic depictions of construction phases included
