3. GENERAL METALWORK SPECIFICATIONS: 3.1. Stainless Steel shall be used for all new tubing. 4. ALL NUTS AND BOLTS SHALL BE NEW STAINLESS STEEL WITH LOCKING NUTS. ENGINE STAND 4.1. Rigged for Lycoming O-540 Engine 4.2. Batteries side by side positioned in front of the gas tank with maximum open space under seat stand. Include grating on tray supporting bottom of batteries. See photo below for similar positioning. 4.3. New gas tank shall be oriented with fuel port on port side. Fuel cap should have clear & easy access by fuel pump or fuel can. The tank should have fuel gauge located on instrument panel. Fuel tank should hold approximately 30 gal. 4.4. Brackets for oil cooler mounted below engine. 4.5. Solenoid mounted in accessible location at front of stand. 4.6. New engine mount bushings and hardware. Battery switch with appropriate cables and mount positioned centered on the seat stand close to underside of driver seat. Driver capable of reaching and turning off & on power switch from seated position. 4.7. Electric fuel pump with new hoses. 4.8. Foot pedal throttle assembly on drivers’ right side. 4.9. New lean cable positioned near drivers’ right side/instrument panel. 5. SEAT STAND 5.1. Rear, elevated driver stand with expanded metal foot platform. 5.1.1. Wire mesh basket under the operator seat with opening to bow. See photo below. 5.1.2. Under the driver platform, mount a marine grade power inverter and carport (DC) style outlet wired to battery on/off switch. 5.1.3. Watertight box under driver platform, opening port side. Box to contain two carport (DC) style outlets wired to battery on/off. Similar to photos. 5.2. Front, double passenger seat. 5.2.1. Back (top of seat) of passenger seat shall be no less than 20" away from the front of the drivers seat. 5.2.2. Bottom of driver seat shall be a little higher (about 3”) than top of passenger seat so that passenger does not block view of driver. 5.2.3. Foot/floor platform below the front, double seat.
