1. Mechanical a. Replacement of the existing single 155-ton chiller with two (2) 100-ton chillers in parallel operation. b. Addition of new variable speed chilled water pumps, bypass piping, air separator, expansion tanks, and chemical filter feeder. c. Replacement of existing 3-way motorized chilled water coil control valves with 2-way motorized control valves. d. Construction of a new chiller enclosure area. e. Replacing existing Ahu-1R outdoor air intake louver and outdoor air ductwork. 1) Replacement of louver requires selective demolition and the installation of supplemental steel framing. f. Upgrading existing BAS front-end and equipment controllers. 2. Electrical a. New 480V, 3 phase, 4 wire electrical service to power new chillers. b. Disconnect existing power and provide new power for new pumps. 3. Structural a. New framing for louver work. b. Foundations and structural support for new chiller and associated equipment.
